I write a lot about Zeeland, but my writing rarely turns up right in the middle of the province. The Neeltje Jans project I recently worked on for VVV Zeeland and the municipality of Veere is different in this respect. You can find my texts right next to the hiking trails of this Island in the Zeeland delta. Furthermore, me and my translators and correctors took care of the English and German translations.
Short
The texts are ultra short. The information panels do not have a lot of room, especially with part of the space being reserved for translations. It was a bit of a challenge, but I thought about the general feel of the island and what kind of info I myself would like to read during a walk and I came up with some good stuff if I say so myself.
Walking on Neeltje Jans
If you go walking on Neeltje Jans now , you encounter an info panel with some fun facts every now and then and there are even picnic tables with my texts on them (they were all designed by DenieuweVORM by the way). If you visit the island with your kids they will enjoy the Pearl Trail with all kinds of exciting questions on nature and Neeltje Jans. So, here is my hiking tip especially for you: go to Neeltje Jans and have a great walk!
