super hero stories for HZ campaign

Holy super assignment, Batman! Late this spring, I got to know a large group of super heroes. They all study at HZ University of Applied Sciences in Vlissingen. In their daily lives they are often just referred to as students, but, boy, do they do amazing things. They are not afraid to face challenges, in fact, they seek them out. They do lots and lots of practical assignments that will blow your mind, have the coolest internships abroad and are just so utterly devoted and fanatic in their approach of their studies and school.

Impressive stories

They each had really impressive stories to tell about their studies at HZ. And I had the privilege to write them down for the new HZ campaign. It highlights how the HZ will help students discover their talents; their inner super hero-ness, if you will. The texts are multifunctional. Quotes can be used on posters, all paragraphs can be used individually on the internet and you can also read student stories in their entirety.

English and Dutch campaign

HZ offers is attended by Dutch and international students. Of course, they need to be approached in different languages. But, as  HZ’s people told me, they also need to be approached in a different way. After all, if you consider studying abroad, you will look for different information than a student who will stay in the safety of their homeland. That is reflected in the texts.

Adventures

I got involved in the project through the communication artists of Nilsson. They worked the whole campaign out in cooperation with HZ. They are also responsible for the student’s awesome super hero photos. I am really pleased with it all. Together we have made one coherent story. And to me it doesn’t feel over yet. I am ever so curious what the super heroes will do next. I will try and keep an eye on the next adventures of Alex, Alexander, Dominique, Elise, Esther, Hedzer, Iris, Jasper, Jekaterina, Jochem, Joost, Luke, Maninder, Maria, Mariyana, Özlem, Philip, Raluca, Selina, Willem and Wout.
