communication prestigious art project: Facade 2012

poster facade 2012Spring 2012 was a busy and exciting time for me as I was hired to set up the communication and promotion of prestigious art event Façade 2012 in my hometown Middelburg. The event takes place from 18 August to 19 November 2012. During the event fourteen drastic interferences in the cityscape will be on display in the city centre of Middelburg. Renowned international artists such as Tadashi Kawamata and Tobias Rehberger will be involved. In short: it is a great and inspiring project.

Communication and promotion
A job like that starts with a communication plan, of course. Aside from that, I completed the list of press  contacts, made advertising plans, worked on the (creation of) the website and set up several publicity collaborations. Right now, my replacement has taken over and is taking care of the practical execution of the things I set up. If you want t know more about this project (and trust me, you do) check out the Façade 2012 website on a regular basis.
